A standalone backend that takes a user's location or a search query and returns nearby, relevant venues filtered by radius or text. RedisGEO handles geo filtering; RediSearch indices handle query-string search.
Binary malignant/benign skin lesion classifier built on EfficientNetB2 with CBAM attention, trained on a deduplicated HAM10000 + ISIC dataset, ~94% malignant recall, ~0.88 ROC‑AUC. Django REST backend, React frontend, moving toward a self-hosted inference endpoint.
College attendance management system that replaces manual roll-call with facial recognition, cutting the time each session takes to log attendance.
